📋 Story Missions
Three villain episodes plus three hero episodes make up the full 30-mission campaign. The cleanest first run is a simple Story Mode clear with no detours, then a second pass in Free Play once your roster is wide enough to reach the locked collectibles.
Villain Episodes
The Riddler's Revenge, Power Crazed Penguin, and The Joker's Return introduce the gadgets, enemy types, and suit interactions you will revisit for cleanup later.
Hero Episodes
The back half of the campaign pushes more traversal and puzzle density. Treat it as your route-learning run, not your 100% run.
✅ 100% Completion Route
If you want the smoothest cleanup path, split the game into four simple phases instead of trying to force every collectible on the first visit.
- Finish the whole story once to unlock suits, hubs, and more of the roster.
- Buy your first score multipliers and utility Red Bricks before grinding studs.
- Return in Free Play for Minikits, Character Tokens, and missed challenge objects.
- Use the final sweep for True Hero thresholds, remaining vehicles, and last-buy unlocks.
🧩 Minikits & Secrets
Each mission hides 10 Minikits and many are intentionally blocked behind gadgets or abilities from later in the game. That is normal. Treat your first pass as reconnaissance and your second pass as the efficient cleanup run.
What To Watch For
Break suspicious scenery, build every obvious LEGO pile, and pay attention to side rooms and high ledges before moving the main story forward.
When To Come Back
If you hit a silver object, tech panel, magnet surface, or mobility gap you cannot solve yet, keep moving and plan to revisit in Free Play.
🏆 True Hero Tips
Each mission has a stud threshold for True Hero. The easiest way to hit it consistently is to stack score multipliers early, then combine broad room-clearing with careful cleanup of breakable props instead of sprinting past them.
- Smash all background objects
- Build every LEGO pile you find
- Chain score multipliers before replaying stud-heavy missions
- Leave optional rooms only after clearing their breakables
🧱 Red Brick Priorities
Red Bricks snowball your cleanup speed. If you only chase a few early, make them the ones that multiply studs or reduce time spent searching blind.
Buy Early
Stud multipliers, Stud Magnet, and Minikit Detector give the biggest quality-of-life jump for replaying story stages.
Buy Later
Novelty bricks and low-impact modifiers can wait until you already have a healthy stud economy from replay runs.

For efficient cleanup, build a roster that covers the common interaction types instead of focusing only on favourite characters.
Core Puzzle Coverage
Bring technology access, explosive damage for silver objects, magnet movement, and a strong movement option like gliding or advanced traversal.
